Cape Town Dress Hire is the brainchild of founder Taryn Morris, who had a dream that began with an idea which was inspired by her struggle to find beautiful dresses at an affordable price.
She noticed a gap in the market for the hiring of occasion wear and found that women in today’s world are needing fast paced fashion at an affordable price whilst also being convenient and easily accessible. She quickly discovered that most women don’t want to wear a dress again after they have been seen and photographed in it.
Where fashion meets tech and women meet their beautiful self confident selves. Taryn’s passion for fashion, style and tech came together and Cape Town Dress Hire was born.
Taryn Morris began her career in the fashion industry after graduating with a B.Comm marketing degree. After working for two high end distribution companies she quickly gained experience in digital marketing, merchandising, PR, buying and styling.
She was then approached to launch White Runway in South Africa and grew the occasion wear business to be one of the most successful and well known in the country. Taryn was also a finalist in the Miss South Africa 2015 pageant. The platform provided her with the necessary knowledge, experience and connections to excel in her chosen industry.
Taryn’s passion, drive and entrepreneur skill set have been the driving force behind Cape Town Dress Hire.
